I stayed in a one bedroomed apartment in the Adonis during a very cold winter weekend. After a warm welcome by the lovely lady at reception, we were shown to our toasty warm apartment which became a home from home. The Medieval Town and castle are close by, and the views from the Adonis spectacular. A couple of streets away... More

The room was nice, clean and had what we needed to prepare small meals ourselves. Morning meals (not included) were nice. We were a few minutes away (by foot) from the medieval city. We actually went all the way from the train station by foot too (but our backpack were kinda heavy so we found it a bit long). Would... More

Fortunately we enjoy a good walk this residence is set under the castle walls so close enough to visit to get to the rest of the town you need to have a walk of about 10-15 minutes dependant on route. We narrowed it down after a few days to under the 10 minute mark to the main shopping streets. The... More

Just spent 3 nights at the Adonis and can't fault it. I stay in hotels all year around for work so enjoyed the fact that this is an apartment and maids are not in and out. I did need to contact reception and found them very very helpful. The apartment was very clean on arrival and was told that it... More

We got there apparently after the place "closes". Once we figured out that we weren't going to be able to check in, I figured out how to get into the building. There was an emergency contact number on the wall. Being from the US, I didn't have a phone so Iwandered around the city in the middle of the night... More

This hotel seems to have 2 names so the GPS doesn't get you there easily - be sure to check whether it is listed as Adonis or Residence La Barbacane. It is across from the Porte Aude on St. Hilaire - basically, across the road from the old city. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly young man... More

Utilitarian and grungy! Staff only available at certain times during the day, and room lacked any charm or comfort, I.e. no furniture and dirty carpet. The breakfast bar and staff were both pleasant. More

We'd booked this as a 'hotel', and so were pleasantly surprised to get a full self-catering apartment, with kitchen-diner, bedroom, bathroom and separate loo. It also had it's own ( if slightly noisy ) aircon, and digital TV with CNN and the BBC. We didn't pay for the parking, but left the car outside - there were many others, often... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Room nice enough but poorly equipped for self catering. Towels were lightweight and small, with no bath mat. Out towels were not changed during our stay and room service was not apparent. Close enough to castle. More
