This was a good, cheap hotel which served well as a base to explore the Cite, maybe 5 minutes away by car. Rooms were standard, newer than many other Ibis hotels around Europe but not brand-new. Everything was clean and service was correct.

Very basic hotel, but good enough stopover. Despite the basic level of faciltiies the guy that was running the place was excellent, should be recognised for his level of customer service and going the extra mile.

Just an over night stay with yet another trip into Carcassonne.. Typical of the brand it is a good cheap place to stay with friendly well trained staff and decent French food.{2006}
