Found hotel through Tripadvisor, Stayed 2 nights. The hotel is charming and quiet, very close to the palace, so was easy to return to room and then back to the palace. Breakfast was only european style, however there was plenty to eat and started the day on a full stomach. Been to a few hotels in France, this rates high... More

Beautiful room decorated in ornate tapestries just minutes away from Versailles. Great service. Would be a wonderful location for an event - wedding etc. Beautiful ballroom. More

We loved Versailles! Stayed three days, June 30-July 3. Hotel is very close to the Palace, that's about its best asset. Only good thing is were were at the palace from 8am until closing, then dinner. Returned just to sleep. There must be better accommodation close to the palace. We found a great restaurant for dinner outside, just down the... More

Really enjoyed this hotel for its location and charming interior. Rooms were small, but clean and comfortable. Our room overlooked a patio for the restaurant, and we were concerned about noise. However, the patio was not in use during our stay. The hotel is right across the street from Versailles, on the west side of the bus parking lot. The... More

We booked this hotel because of a good recommendation from Rick Steves book. We had booked the 'family suite' over the internet-I was traveling with my granddaughter, daughter and a friend. Before our departure from the US, we received an email stating that we couldn't have the family suite due to an 'odor' problem. Our first clue, They said we... More

The people were very kind to us. The first room had a horrible odor from the bathroom drain. They were very agreeable to move us. The rooms are older, more tired. We had a courtyard view which was quiet. There is really no restaurant bar or lounge in the hotel. However, we stayed three nights (no car) and enjoyed the... More

We stayed here at the last minute in late November 2010. We decided to spend 2 nights in Versailles as we traveled from Switzerland so that we could spend a whole day visiting the palace. I called from a pay phone in the train station. During late November we found that most sights, hotels and restaurants were empty and it... More

We had a lovely stay, although the Hotel is just over the road from the Chateau it was very quiet. We were able to be at the gates of the Chateau for 9.00am with our internet tickets and had only had to queue for a very short time. The hotel has no parking but we were able to park right... More

Room reasonable - nothing special, and hot in hot weather. Bed hard, pillows lumpy, but good bathroom and breakfast. Rooms facing into the inner courtyard look down into reception areas which can be noisy. Hotel location good - beside Palace of Versailles. But this also means that unless you are lucky and manage to obtain one of the limited street... More
