After reading some of the reviews here, I was a little worried. Maybe we lucked out with room 45, which had a bigger bathroom than those some have described here. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly, we chose a residential area hoping for it to be quiet and we were not disappointed. On the... More

Maybe didn't see the hotel at it's best as they were re-decorating the public areas. our room was very tired and cheap. Value for money? Not really, this is a very basic, budget hotel - don't think you are getting a good deal when you see the publicity photo's. On the whole staff were friendly and polite. More

The hotel was under extensive renovation when I arrived: walls had been ripped apart, there was heavy drilling during the day, and dust in corridors. Despite this, the hotel was renting out some rooms (like mine) while in my opinion under those conditions they should have simply closed down the whole place. It was not too bad for me because... We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and the biggest drawback besides the inconvenient location and small room was the terribly small bathroom! Seriously, there was barely enough space in the bathroom to even twist and turn. Overall the room was not clean and the towels were dirty! More

The hotel room was horrible: dirty, mouldy bathroom, no aircon, blankets instead of duvets, no kettle, bathroom the size of a portable loo, 24 french channels on Tv and no English stations, very dusty and carpet....the only positives we found was a helpful staff and a free coffee even if you didn't take breakfast at 10 euros. Paris is a... More

Stayed one night on business. Located in south of Paris (14th arondissemenr) in quit side street near St Marie Rehab Hospital. Room was on 5th floor, tiny, spartan, but VERY comfy bed/mattress. Shower/WC tiny and functional with occasional spots of mould. Breakfast ok, staff friendly and helpful. Hotel has lift. Certainly no frills accommodation but good value for money for... More

We liked this hotel. It was cheap, clean and a bit tatty. The staff were friendly and nobody moaned when we came in at 2.30 am! It is in a good location 5 mins from metro and 2 mins from 58 bus into city centre. The breakfast was standard but enough to set you up for a day wandering around... More

The hotel's appearance bore no resemblance to photos on the internet and it was far from the 'elegant' 'typically Parisian' Hotel they describe! The room was an alarming green throughout and small and shabby with cheap and nasty furniture and bedding. The bathroom was tiny. We didnt try the breakfast as it was expensive. It was a 15-20 min walk... More

The price was reasonable, staff was very helpful they were courteous. The noise was loud to acceptable. It was within walking distance of bus & metro stations, surroundings are very quiet. For people that are trying to keep the cost down is a good place More

My partrner and I travel to Paris often. We first stayed here in Feb 2006 and it was our first Paris Hotel. Yes, the walls are thin and the carpet a bit shabby, but the new owners have cleaned this place up a bit than what we first experienced. The old owners had Herman Munster at the desk and was... More
