Stayed here for one night on a recent business trip to Paris, walking distance from both Gare de L'est and Gard du Nord. Easy access to Metro. Quick efficent check-in, room was smallish but spotless and modern. Really nice hotel for the business traveller or for a few days stay. Cannot fault it! Breakfast was plentiful and nice selection of... More

I had an ok stay, but to be honest didn't spend more than a few minutes plus two nights' sleep there: my room (309) was at the end of a corridor so no noise from neighboring rooms. Place was clean, but very basic. Very Good experience in terms of getting what I needed for the conference trip I was on.... More

Located a short walk from two major stations, Gare de L'est and Gare du Nord, I could move around easily through metro and trains to major attractions in Paris (about 10-15 mins through metro). Compared to other hotels in city centre, the room rates are slightly lower. The toilet was clean because it was recently renovated but the room space... More

I stayed two nights and got two different rooms on the top floor. The first room had an immense and lovely bathroom and big windows overlooking the street. Okay you're not overlooking the Eiffel Tower but I love just looking out into the streets of Paris. The location is fantastic, close to the Gare de l'Est and the Gare du... More

I would recommend this hotel to most business travelers. Location is not really touristic in fact (although you can easily get to any touristic spot in Paris quickly as Metro and RER stations are 150 meters away from hotel - Gare de l'Est station). Hotel is recently renovated, small building and cozy feeling. No restaurant inside the hotel but many... More

Tha facade of this building in a narrow side street of the Boulevard Magenta, doesn't let you expect what you find in the interior: A recently renovated hotel, with tasteful furniture and colours, in a simple but functional design. The narrow and dimpy lit corridor to the rooms needs some habituation, but the rooms are spacious, luminous and relaxing. I... More

Got to the hotel and our room was small with no safe. My friends who also were on the trip went into their room and found blood in the sink and vomit in the toilet. When they went back to reception and complained, they were given another room key and when they entered they found that the room was already... More

We stayed here and like all tourist went sight seeing, so didn't stay in the hotel long, however it's central location and easy access to the metro is fantastic! The rooms are lovely very quirky! The breakfasts are really nice too. The best part about this hotel is the security it offers, the main door is always locked and Hotel... More

We have stayed at many Mercure hotels but this is the first time we have encontered uncooperative night staff.. Excellent bedrooms and bed, as is to be expected, but just a single flat pillow each. A request for extra pillows was met with a surly response from the night porter that there were none. just like that and turned away... More
