I was very disappointed when we settled in our room...I went into the bathroom, turned on the lights to find bugs scattering into the shadows. Not cool! Reasonable hotels in Paris can be diabolically hard to secure and anything reasonable at the budget end of the market will be sold out months and months in advance. You must book early! Like the UK, hotels in broader Europe appear to be a bit of a rip off. You pay a whole lot and get very little in return.... More
