35 Euro/night, in the middle of Paris? Enough said. The youth hostel was located within seconds' walk to restaurants, laundry facilities, and as the name suggests, the Louvre. The communal showers were probably the biggest off-putting factor for me. Not only was there a fair size walk from the shower to my room, but there was always an odour lurking... More

The staff was nice enough but that is the only thing going for this hostel- wifi is charged by the hour, and the hallways are long and unlit at night. Make sure to bring your own towel and soap. And prepare to put the sheets on your bed and take them off.

The location was excellent and the people were very nice. It reallt cuts your transit expenses.. Lockers in the luggage room fit my knapsack which was great for when I left. The wifi is not free but there are cafes and Starbucks just a walk away were you can get it for free. Some people could not get the wifi... More

After a near disaster of the staff giving away our reservation (after we had made them aware of the time of our arrival), our stay was decent. The rooms were clean and had nice windows. The place felt safe and the location was great. It's right across the street from the Louboutin store!

Remebering this is not a hotel and that it is only 35€ per night (nothing in Paris under 98-100€), this is by far the cheapest accomodation you will find. It is friendly and i was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness. It felt safe and staff helpful. (i am a woman traveling alone) But it can be noisy which is amplified... More

Inexpensive, clean, on a quiet little street, the location is just perfect! minute walk to the Louvre, five minutes to the Seine, 2 minutes to the metro. BOOK less than one day prior to arrival - no problem. Furniture in the rooms of a bed and a chair - the cabinet is not enough of course. in general, only a... More

This hostel had potential with its location and the fact it was an economic option, but there were some attributes I was not ready for. First, the location is decent, and the price is right. Paris is pricey, and this was a good option if you're on a budget. I found the woman at the desk witty and helpful. French... More

This is a poor choice from Lonely Planet! Shame.. Staff friendly and double room was comfortable, good location. Showers cold, no soap or toilet seats in bathrooms, very noisy. Website states age 18-35 yrs only, but it was full of young kids screaming and running around all night. No atmosphere, feels like more of a hospital than a hostel. Too... More

I only stayed here because it was listed in my Lonely Planet - Europe on Shoestring Budget guide. Last time I stay at a hostel recommended by Lonely Planet! Rather then bore you with, hands down, the worst hostel experience i have ever had, ill just list the pros and cons. + Location... its near the Louvre - Super rude... More
