Staed for 2 nights, the male receptionist was excellent, extremely helpful and pleasant, the female receptionist (African/afro carrabean) on the Monday morning was offhand to the point of rudeness! The rooms are very small but very clean and tidy, if you just want somewhere to sleep then this is the place for you, the breakfast was the usual continental, but worth the money. The Hotel is ideal for the Metro, just 2 trains and 20... More

WOW. I am a 21 year old who traveled with my high school stayed 6 days 5 nights in April 2008 and had the worst experience with this hotel. Let me just say that after reading the reviews of Hotel Clarisse, I feel that not one of the experiences holds a candle to the one my school mates and I had. Mind you, we stayed 5 nights.... First off me and my buddies (only 3... More

I went to Paris with my wife to spend a romantic week in the city of enchantment. The Clarisse hotel didn't contribute to any of that. At arrival we had to leave for another hotel because someone else wanted to stay longer (which is strange since we booked for a whole stay well in advance). The next day we had to wait for an hour to get to the room. The room itself was dominated... More

The only 2 positives of this place were: the tiny rooms were clean and the bathroom was nice. If you can get past the fact that there is no real area to move in the clean rooms and the elevator barely holds one person and their luggage, then this hotel is for you. The hotel is located next to a train stop and major street so it is noisy no matter what side you sleep... More

The hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and is a mere five minute (if that) walk to the metro which takes you into the centre of Paris in ten minutes top. It is also a few doors away from a supermarket which was handy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but again that is reflected in the price. If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful place to sleep, shower... More

before we went to paris we booked our hotel then read reviews which we were a bit worried about, although we needent have bothered. the hotel is a few minutes walk from the metro station which will take you to the champs elyssee in 10 to 15 minutes. if you are going out at night the metro stops at 12a.m and starts again at 5a.m. instead of waiting around we got a taxi for a... The hotel is some distance away from central Paris. It is located on the main road and not a by lane, close to the Larissa train station as well as the tram station which is right across the hotel. It takes around half an hour to 45 minutes to get to the centre. The area was quite safe but gets a little deserted since the hotel is situated in the suburbs and not in the... More

I have stayed in many hotels all over Europe, and this one was pretty bad. I don't care about a small elevator, or even a small room. I do care, however, about cleanliness. This hotel was not clean. The closet smelled so musty that we could not even open it, let alone hang our clothes in it. The bed linens didn't look clean and I don't think they've bought new blankets in a very long... More

My friend and I went on a backpacking trip and decided to stay at the Hotel Clarisse. The staff was very helpful and when we arrived early for check in, they allowed us to store our backpacks in a little while we went around the city. They also helped us with our french which was terrible! We booked a room with two beds but when we arrived they only had a room with one big... More

This is a small hotel with decent staff and good location (right next to tram station- Brancion). The amenities are very basic though- small rooms, tiny lift, sparse breakfast and a restaurant which is shut for winter! All this may still have been acceptable were it not for the extremely rude manager/ proprietor. We had booked a Eurostar holiday (train + hotel) with Hotel Clarisse. We have 2 kids- one 5 yr old and one... More
