I stayed at Hotel le Bellechasse during the second half of my trip to Paris in October 2009. I absolutely loved being steps away from the D'Orsay and the Seine. The Christian Lacroix designs were probably too haute couture for my tastes but the bed was comfortable, sheets were luxe, and the room was spacious enough. Loved having a bath... more

Beautiful hotel, but the service was not that good. We were on our honey moon and the rooms are small, bathroom (toilet seat area) is private and small, the shower/bath area has no door. OK so the room was teeny tiny but ok by Paris standards. Really amazing decor (everything you'd expect from a famous designer), a wonderful bath in the room, lots of nice touches, a comfy bed, very lovely staff and a superb location next to the Musee d'Orsay. Brekkie was lovely too. Would definitely stay again. more

A Design Hotel designed by Christian Laxroix is a few steps away from Musee d'Orsay. We have choosen Le Bellechasse from SLH list and had a look at the reviews at tripadvisor. This hotel was ok, and an acceptable value (we paid about 199 euros per night), but I can’t say that I enjoyed it. Pro: well located, comfortable bed, friendly staff, clean. Could not have been more hip, stylish, fun, funky beautiful. Service was delightful, complementary drinks delivered to our door within 5 minutes of check-in. Beautiful decor by Christian LeCroix. Great neighborhood. more

Pros: Great location. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Cons: Cramped rooms (even though we paid extra for a "Privilege Twin", our room was still so cramped you couldn't open the door to the lavatory at the same time as the wardrobe, because they knocked into each other.) Lots of charm, perfect location for the sights and Musee d'Orsay, and great service. Everyone was so friendly and we felt really welcome. Rooms are a good size too for Paris, and the decor is fabulous. more
