The room was large, airy and spotless; the bathroom amazingly free of the eccentric plumbing arrangements that can make a stay in Paris rather less fragrant than it should be. Exactly what we wanted for our first night in Paris: clean, friendly staff who were flexible (checked in early), good bed, and one TV channel in English. The price is right and being near the train stations and buses, we easily travelled to both Versailles and then to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre for dinner. more
