I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience of this hotel. Shopping center with a good supermarket just across the road, just a few minutes walk from Place d'Italie metro station with 3 lines that met most of our tourist needs, a reasonable selection of restaurants close by. The Hotel has very good location with perfect public transport. It's basic itself, but the staff is friendly, everything is clean and tidy. The rooms, and bathrooms are small, but acceptable. You can pick good off season promotion prices (online). (it was 50€/night/room in August)

No apologies for eulogising my favourite arrondissement either...........it's a great...
