Went to Paris on 23 rd may 2012.... I can't put to words how different this hotel is.. Is near to every thing and the rooms are really different. I had the one in the picture I've put up. Very convenient location! 5 min walk from the louvre and palais royal train station. Very clean and modern, rooms were small though, like we could hardly open our luggages (large ones). Bed was excellent, very comfy! Bathroom, modern but sink was tiny. Didier, was helpful and nice. Quite pricey for the size of the room but it's expected in Paris.... More

The other reviews of Hotel Crayon accurately describe the hotel. The rooms are small, but brightly decorated. The elevators and halls are tiny, but seem to be consistent with feedback read on many other central Paris hotels. The location was lovely - just a few minutes walk to the Louvre, and close to my office near the Bourse Metro stop.... More

Very good location, close to Louvre and Les Halles. On a small street so not noisy at night. Original "crayon" theme adds some character. Very friendly staff. Recently renovated with high quality beds, bathroom fixtures. However, underneath the very nice skin, it is still your typical Paris hotel - small rooms and not inexpensive. More

I cannot recommend this little, artsy hotel more highly. It is situated very near to Les Halles metro and the Louvre and not far from the Centre Pompidou. This is a cute and quirky hotel. First off our room was decorated in orange and was tiny, just enough room to manoeuvre around the bed. The bathroom was tiny too. But, and it's a big but, the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Ever. Great power shower too, and friendly staff. More
