Our first stay at this hotel, We usually rent 3 blocks away in an appartment on Bourg-Tibourg. This hotel is in a great location. It in in the epicenter of gay Paris (and not as in happy - "gay") so it is always lively. The Jewish area is within a few blocks - falafel anyone? Close to a ton of... More

We (my niece and me in a room with two twin beds and my brother and his wife in a double room), stayed here for three nights when we first arrived in Paris. The staff on each shift and on very day was there to assist us in directions, tour and restaurant suggestions, faxing, phone calls and anything else we... More

We just had another delightful stay at the Hotel. Warmly welcomed by Patrick and Karen at the Front Desk. We had a delightful junior suite on the second floor overlooking the street. The style and furnishing of the room is so totally french and it makes you really feel as if you are really living in Paris. The breakfast in... More

Our 2nd stay in 3 years, But now I knew to ask for a "quiet" room, which means away from main street... You get to know what to ask for after staying once as there are indeed quite a few busy gay bars in that very street and obviously it can get lively at weekends, so the "quiet" side, overlooking... I have been twice at this hotel and it is excellent. An ancient charming building with clean, confortable and pleasant rooms. The hotel is small but very cosy, warm and polite/friendly atmosphere. If you stay at this wonderful hotel you are going to be in the heart of Marais district, 10 minutes walking distance from Baubourg / Centre Pompidou or... More

As other reviewers have said, the location is great, in the bustling Marais district. The first impression as one enters is of old-world, almost rural French charm. We booked a junior suite (35) and were surprised how spacious and quiet it was for central Paris. The bedroom with superking - or two twins - with two attractive canopies was a... More

My husband and I visit Paris for a few days every year when travel to Europe. We love the quaintness and size of this hotel. We stay there every time. Clean, vintage and near Notre Dame and Ile St..Louis. Simple, and the staff is so helpful. More

I agree with other reviewers - the location can't be beat, and while the hotel is not super modern, they had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the wifi worked very well. We had a "charming" room which was, in fact, charming, with little dormer windows in the room and in the bathroom, looking out over the street.... More

This is a lovely three star hotel. The room we stayed in (room 29) was relatively small with a lovely four poster bed! It was classicaly decorated and very clean. And the most important thing: the bed was excellent. Bathroom had everything you needed, again, it was not very big! The receptionist were very friendly and helpfull. And the location... More
