Paris is HUGE so looking for something "central" is hard. The Pantheon is literally at the end of the street and the Notre Dame at the other. The River Seine is also only a 5-8 minute walk; walk this & it will take you to the Louvre, Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tour... The list goes on! Otherwise, there is... More

This Mercure hotel is in a good location opposite the Sorbonne and within walking distance to most main tourist attractiona. Rooms are small but comfortable and well equiped, tea tray is a bonus. The rooms at the back are quieter than those at the front overlooking Rue de la Sorbonne - I stayed at this hotel with extended family and... More

We stayed three nights over Easter in a pleasant double room. Hotel is clean, smart and quite modern. Great location near several metro stations. What differentiated it for us were the extremely courteous and helpful staff. Notably good service throughout from initial reservation on the phone (with Matthieu?) to check in, info requests etc. Great value and recommended. More

I stayed at this hotel for a short business trip. The room was small but efficient and clean. Staff were very helpful and responded to all my requests. There isn't a restaurant but don't be put off as within 5 minutes walk there are some bistros and restaurants. Overall a very good stay in a lovely part of the city.... More

everything was perfect, very good breakfast, what is not so usual at paris hotels, the only problem was, that the room was pretty small for two adults with a little baby - but if you are just two, it´s ok ;-) More

The best thing about this hotel was the location. You can walk right out the door and to great restaurants and shopping...and nice walks to the river and many of the sites we visited. The rooms, while clean, are very small and a bit old. The shower is tricky but we figured it out after the first day! Overall we... More

I always fear staying at a hotel in the city that I am not going to be able to sleep. The Mercure la Sorbonne is in a quiet street, and the hotel has a section away from the street, even. Yes, the room is small, but you don't go to Paris to stay in a hotel room either. The location... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for leaving your impression about the Mercure Paris La Sorbonne. Yes, our hotel consists in two buildings combined into one. Each building is looking over a quiet street: rue de la Sorbonne on one side, and rue Champollion on the other side (75005 Paris). But half or our rooms are looking over an interior courtyard, providing... More
