Many of the reviews on this hotel listing are actually for another Avenir Hotel in Paris which is in the Montmartre area near Anvers metro station and actually seems ok. In reality this hotel is a dive.

Firstly this is no where near the sacre coeur, completely the other side of the city so dont know how you can have views, maybe there is another hotel with the same name closer.
Anyway, same as most on here rooms tiny and dark and dingy, bed ok, noise from other rooms slightly, all clean bathroom ok but no shower...

Was here with husband on school trip. Had our own room while boys shared other rooms. Safety aspect appalling as no fire escape. Rooms shabby and dark even in day. Ours had no carpet, just cold tiles. Bed had no pillows, just an uncovered "roll" thing that 2 of us were meant to share. Bathroom clean. Shower was hand held...
