I have stayed here twice and plan to return again this March. I can tell you that as a regular visitor to Paris..this hotel is in the PERFECT location. You can walk to everywhere from here and the Metro is basically across the street. There are also nice places to eat in the area ( try Le Souffle- steps away...

Having stayed at the Mayfair twice I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Paris. The location simply can't be beat. Yes, as other reviewers have said it is not a 4 star hotel. You are also not paying a 4 star price. It does however have wonderful staff, clean as a whistle and they will upgrade your room if one...

The Hotel Mayfair is near the Rue de Rivoli and Jardin de Tuileries and Place de laConcorde -- ideal location! We had a "family room" which consisted of two twin beds plus a pull out couch in a suite-like two room layout, which worked out perfectly for two adults and two small children (7 and 9 years old). Located on a back street where the only view is the garbage collection from the Westin Hotel. Horrible noise which is a combo of 7am trash removal and 8am hammering from the building next door undergoing construction. Internet access is a hit or miss. No hair conditioner in the bathroom. Beds are hard and pillows lumpy. Breakfast is stingy. All...

It is difficult to find in Paris a more dedicated and friendly staff as you will find in the Hotel Mayfair.

My husband and I book a standard room, including breakfast, through a package with Air France. The room was nice, not large but this is Paris and not the US. Not much "closet" space - just one armoire, with some hanging space on one side (with a large safe under that), and the other side had three shelves (with a...

Having just returned from a week in Paris, we cannot stop raving about what a terrific hotel the Mayfair was. Its location is ideal--we were within a few minutes' walk of just about everything we wanted to get to, including the Metro, the Louvre, the Musee D'orsay, the Place de la Concorde, Place Vendome, etc. Its an opulent neighborhood but...

We just came back from a week in Paris - nov 9th to Nov 16th
The hotel corresponded to the old Parisian look we were looking for , but not its advertised high rank. The receptionnist , is arrogant and unaccommadating.
The Mayfair hotel was in the middle of some exterior renovations while we were there , which woke us...
