This is a wonderful location on a quiet street, and close to so many interesting places, art galleries, antique stores, famous cafes, and a Ladurée patisserie on the corner! The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Alexandra who was there for most of my 10 day stay. My room on the 6th flr (lift goes to the 5th) was a... More

Dear Artsylife, We thank you for taking time to write a comment about Hotel Des Deux Continents. It is a pleasure to read that you had a nice stay with us. Of course you had hot water in your room! But it is true that some of our previous guests had unfortunate experiences. Everything is fine now, and all the... More

My husband and I have traveled extensively, and especially love Paris. This was our first stay at the Hotel des Duex Continuents and I was originally concerned after reading some of the reviews. We, however, found our room clean every day (we stayed four nights) lots of hot water and a very accommodating staff who went above and beyond to... More

Dear Marianne J, We would like to thank you for your nice comment about Hotel Des Deux Continents. We are pleased to read that you had a nice stay with us in spite of your wallet theft. Paris is very nice and St-Germain des Près was a good choice for visiting the city. However, pickpockets are frequents in the subway... More

There's no denying this hotel is in a fabulous location but it needs some serious attention. I stayed here during a business trip and not only was there no hot water for all three days (guests were advised to take their towels etc. to a hotel a five minute walk away and use their showers) but the loo in my... This hotel is located in the heart of Paris!! Shopping, nightlife, restaurants, the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, the Latin Quarter... in the heart of St. Germain. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is fine... realize you are not at the Four Seasons but the price also reflects that. The hotel is perfect for seeing... More

I stayed here last weekend, and although I didn't spend anytime but to sleep in the hotel I really couldn't have if I wanted to. It has a brilliant location, that I can't fault, and the staff were nice on reception, but it really ended there. The stairs up to the rooms [I was at the top, looked like they... More

One look at the map teaches that this hotel is perfectly located both for the Quartier Latin and for proximity to other parts of Paris that feature on the tourist menu. The hotel associates itself with the signing in the Rue Jacob of the treaty between America and England confirming the former's independence and has period allure. The staff is... More

I have stayed here in different seasons over the course of many years. It remains an excellent value for its prime location. Very easy access to the Metro, very easy walk to the Louvre and the Right Bank, and right in the middle of some of the best art galleries for antique porcelain, furniture, and other decorative arts. Nearby restaurants... More

Upon reaching this hotel, at 11:00 am, I checked out the room, after following the instructions from the desk to go to the "annex" in the back, & try to fit in the miniscule elevator with my luggage. I opened the door to a filthy, stained carpeted, tiny, & discusting dark "cell" of a room! I left my bags there... More

I booked this room through booking.com. For a one night stay with my nine year old daughter. The hotel is in a great location in the Latin Quarter. I was charged €198 for an extremely small room with bathroom that was in desperate need of a good clean and general maintenance. The staff were very polite and friendly and allowed... More

My friend and I traveled on a 'girls trip' to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel des Deux Continents. We opted for a twin room (2 twin beds) on the 3rd floor without elevator access. The trek up and down the spiral stairs was perfectly fine and worth the savings. The hotel is quaint, yet... More
