Whilst the location, building and furnishings are good, some of the bedrooms and bathrooms are small. My room was twice the size of a colleague's. The bedroom doors are very heavy, which means lots of banging and noise inside the hotel. Added to this, the breakfasts are disappointing, with one poor lady rushing to refill everything, and a small selection... more

There is a lot to like about this hotel. It is in a very nice, safe part of Paris (lots of very fashionable business people walking around, near Chanel and Cartier stores.) We walked to a lot of the sites. There is also a grocery store across the street (you can get a wheel of brie cheese for less than... more

I spent a week at this friendly hotel. We held a conference at the hotel including meals. Everything was run beautifully. The staff were very helpful to myself and the participants. The rooms are nice, quiet and the bathrooms well kept. The location is fabulous, safe and convenient. Excellent value for money. more

Friendly staff that spoke English, nice lobby. Hotel rooms where nice sized, nice beds, only one English channel. The bathrooms where extremely large especially for Europe-Paris standards. This hotel is not in an area close to resteraunts and bars, it is rather in a quite business upscale shopping area. Which was disappointing. The metro stop is farther away then we... more

Just returned from stay at this hotel. Good location for sightseeing but we were given room at the back which was dark, up some narrow twisting stairs, with basic furnishings. When I asked to change rooms I was told to look at another but it was exactly the same on the floor above. On the third night there were a... more

These people should not be running a hotel, the are rude and obnoxious. Enough said, don't stay there. The only ok thing about it is the location. more

My wife and I have stayed here several times and each stay has been enjoyable. The staff at the hotel was always very nice to us and professional. We love the location as it is quite close to Rue Faubourg du St. Honore, Opera, La Madeline, great shopping, and all the usual Paris sights. We always felt safe in this... more

I originally booked to stay in the Hotel Academie, but had to spend my 1st night here - problem with our room, anyway. The hotel is in a good location a few minutes walk from the Champs-Elysées & Place du Concorde. The building is from around 1830 and is decorated in keeping with the period. My partner and I liked... more

This hotel is in a great location - very close to Place de La Concorde and all major sites. The hotel is small and quite basic - but good for Paris standards. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast consisted of coffee, cereal and a selection of fruits and yougurts. I also found the lady at the front desk... more

We stayed here 6 days in July 2006. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and always polite (even though we can only speak English). The room slept 4 people. It was clean and while not large, had adequate space. The private bathroom was modern and had nice fixtures, including a bidet. The lobby and breakfast room at the hotel appeared... more
