We found this to be a very good hotel. Good clean room with ensuite, TV, phone, minibar. It appeared to have been modernised in the recent past. Quiet, comfortable, quaint. Simply loved it. Proximity to the Metro, and Louvre were superb, and I found the price reasonable. Impeccably clean and detailed. Great location of the hotel just 5 minutes from the louvre very close to the subway, line B in Châtelet - Les Halles goes to the Charles de gaulle airport costs €9 and takes about 40 minutes, the subway was VERY crowded when we went. You would choose to stay here because of the location. Close to the Louvre, close to subways, close to the river, close to the Left Bank. Likemany city center Paris hotels, be prepared for a very small room, small bath, and small shower.
