Small hotel in 1er arr. with everything within walking distance. Rooms are not big but okay. Almost no noice from outside. Breakfast was very good but your stuck away in some basement room. I would go back. more

Stayed here during Arc weekend. Chosen for the location,on a quiet street just off the main throughfare,close to Chatelet metro. The rooms although small were adaquate, anyway we didn't spend too much time inside. Our room on the fifth floor had a small balcony with a view looking over to the Eiffel tower. A small period (1930's) hotel, very recently redecorated, on a quiet street 100 metres from the Seine, located between Chatelet and Mont Saint Michel metro stations. We stayed in Hotel Britannique for four nights over Columbus Day weekend. We found the hotel off of Trip Advisor and chose it based on the reviews and overall rating and we were not at all disappointed. The hotel staff was extremely nice. My wife & I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Hotel Britannique, and it was wonderful! We arrived in Paris via RER B, walked up from the Chatelet station, and walked the remaining 1 block down avenue Victoria to the hotel. The staff was warm and friendly, and even left us a small gift for our anniversary.... more
