We took a taxi from Gare du Nord to the hotel for 8 euro. The taxi's in front of the train station wanted 100 euro. We walked a block to another queue with luck. Ibis Styles Paris Republique is definitely a great choice for travelers to Paris. I spent 3 nights here and was given corner room on 5th floor which had a great window view. The room was spacious and the breakfast was awesome. The free Wi-Fi worked well during my stay. Would like to recommend this hotel to others.

The location is good as it is very close to the Republique Metro Station. Lots of eateries around. Nice area to walk around. Room was clean, though small. Breakfast was good. Wifi connectivity was excellent and hassle-free.
