Because it truly is spectacular - smack bang in the centre of the 1er, a block from Place de La Concorde and across from Le Crillon, probably Paris' best located hotel - and certainly one of its most expensive. The location is perfect and the room really good. Was in a "prestige" suite. Beware not to have the "duplex" ones, you loose a lot of space. Been there twice in 3 weeks, left some stuff in between. I highly recommend this hotel. It was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The room was much larger than typical Parisian hotel rooms. The street was quiet and comfortable, and it was nice to be so close to all the embassies and to Elysee Palace. more
