Listen...this isn't a four-star place. Its a quiet, little old neighborhood hotel. That's it...no more, no less. But here's the thing, its walking distance to the Louvre, the d'Orsay and the Metro (rue du Bac). Its a short walk into St. Germain des Pres. The staff is great, you can use the computer in the lobby to go on the... More

This cute little hotel was quite a positive surprise. The personnel were very kind and helped explain the direction to several places. The room we received was newly renovated. It looked really good. It was very small for 2 people with suitcases, but all in all we managed fine. The bathroom is huge for Parisian standards, but need an upgrade,... More

It was okay for us as we only stayed for 1 night, but wouldnt come back. The only good things about this "hotel" was the staff and the location. The bad things? On the website it says : Our rooms "de charme" are all equipped with mini bar, hair dryer, private safe, satellite TV, and our room service will make... More

Great location 2 min from the louvre and MRT station. The rooms are outdated to say the least, in fact it appears that the last time they updated the decor Charles De Gaulle was still running the country. Contains what is possibly the worlds smallest elevator. But staff very helpful and spoke good English while also being very attentive. Downside... More

L'Hotel de Beaune has a special place in my heart as it was the very first hotel i stayed at in Paris while i was a student... and it will for ever remain a special place to stay. Back then i had really little money & it was recommended by many artists... Location on Rive Gauche is easy. The red... More

Probably one of the dirtiest hotel I have been to . The overall state of conservation and cleanliness is way below what the net pictures show. Our Room was at a level of dirtiness that I very seldom encountered (and I have travelled all over the planet: Asia-Africa-USA-Europe). The carpet originally red was totally black from stains and dirt. the... More

We had a great time at this hotel. We thought our room was super cute and quaint with lots of character. The staff was super friendly and we had a great time getting to know some of the college kids working the desk. They also gave us a free pass for a boat tour (for our honeymoon they told us--super... well....what can I say: Rooms are tiny with no main lighting only bedside lamps. Its close to the Metro about 5 minutes; There is NO Wi Fi: the hotel is very old and the staircase is tiny with a strange tiny lift. Dont come here if you need Wi Fi or if you prefer something modern. they serve breakfast for... More

The neighborhood has a produce market, small grocery store, a wine shop, cheese shop, meat shop, flower shop, health food restaurant, and an amazing bakery with coffee and pasterys, all within a block or two. Several restaurants, pretty good too! Staff was always there if anything was needed. They phoned for us to make reservations, and helped us locate places... More

Charming? Romantic? hmmm... im not sure about that. This hotel has its pros and cons. Depending on what you value more it may or may not be for you. Just so you know, this is a small - very small - hotel with a comically small elevator - if you're a big boy like me then plan on riding up... More
