Staff tries to keep hotel clean, kills insects. Hotel looks nice, but worn-out. Good location - in the centre, not far from all sights. Hotel needs much repair - leeking shower (so, that it's impossible to use it). Curtains and bed linen have many spots. Beds are too small, so if you are higher than 180 cm - avoid this...

Comfortable room in a very well located hotel in the 9th arrondissement, moments away from the Gare du Nord. While I only stayed one evening on a layover, I would definitely look up the Riviera Hotel on my next visit to Paris. The service was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was small...

The room was small but it was ok. It seemed clean but under the bed it was dusty. The door for the room was hard to open and made a terrible sound. The door for the shower was broken/missing so the bathroom was overflooded after taking a shower.
We didn´t try the breakfast.
The staff was friendly and it was...

One cannot expect luxury when paying pauper prices. I understand this concept. This hotel tries to meet expectations, but fails in organization. The beds are by far some of the most comfy out there, and it has a quaint feel to it, but there are other points that stand out that make the overal experience a little soured.

This hotel is extremely close to the Sacre Coeur. In fact when standing at the entrance to the hotel you can see it. Our room was on the ground floor and the decor was beautiful. The furniture seemed new/renovated and the beds were comfortable. Overall, the room size and decor was great! However, that is about all that was great...

For what we paid, this hotel was very worthwhile. The room was perfectly clean, with the beds made and the towels changed every day, the television and shower worked fine, there was plenty of hot water and the beds were comfortable. Given that hotel rooms in Paris in general are notoriously tiny, the rooms were actually slightly larger than expected....

i recently took a trip to paris for the fist time to do some sight seeing. i booked this hotel without reading the reviews. to be honest i think some of the reviews are totally over exaggerated. its not disgusting, or horrific! its just simply disappointing.
when i first checked in i was (like the other reviews say) told the...

The hotel is just disgusting. Traveled with her husband, like romance, and received a surly staff, disgusting rooms and cockroaches ... Impossible to sleep on the beds. Towels are changed only if they clearly stand out spots. On my request to change the pillow on which it was impossible to sleep, and a towel hotel manager yelled at me that...

I never told them about the unfavourable reviews this hotel had got as I didnt want to spoil it for them. They returned home today with glowing reports about this hotel....
