This hotel is a cut above the average for its price because it has been renovated and feels shiny and new, especially the bathroom. The rooms are standard and not spacious but the beds are comfortable and the area is quiet. The location is great - between the station and tourist information, the cathedral and the old town. It is... More

The hotel was a pleasant surprise! A short walk from the tours train station, it's also near the old town. Rooms were well appointed, modern and clean. Looked like it was renovated recently. I thoroughly enjoyed the generous breakfast too. Great stay overall! More

My wife and our 8 year old son stayed at Hotel Ronsard for one night on our way from the Chunnel south. It's a lovely place, clean, quiet, very central on a quiet square. Our son required a Doctor during our visit and Madame Savary went out of her way to find and call the Doctor to arrange for us... More

Stayed here for one night on the way to Sancerre. A very nice sized room , it was clean and nice decor. The location was super in the centre of Tours. We would stay here again. More

I had a booking confimed in writing by M Jean-Noël Savary, but when I contacted him a week before we were due to stay in the hotel he said he had lost our booking, blaming his reservation system (annulée sur notre planning). He refused to accept that our booking, made in June, should be the priority reservation. M Savary made... More

Hotel is located on a little side street that was not too hard to find. It is just a minute walk to the center of numerous shopping and dining. It the square where most all dining is, I counted over 20 little brassieres and pubs. We were greeted by a gentleman who was nice enough to carry my wife's luggage... More

Nice little old building with a "magic door"...no buzzer..just pops open Abracadabra! No lift but male owner will help. Located close to Rue Colbert aka restaurant row and Cathedral and a short walk to Pl Plum and olde town..perfect! Comfortable bed, shower only, no English channels, but fine for two nites. Asked on check in if having breakfast said no... More

Like everyone wrote over here, this hotel is excellent. Smallish but modern and clean. The staffs are always smiling and nice. Location is superb, a minute away from rue colbert where you dine and its a pleasant walking distance to everything else. More

We stayed here for one night between the Tunnel crossing and getting to the Dordogne. The hotel is easy to find and well-located near the centre- we plonked down or luggage and walked to lovely pedestrianised areas full of restaurants and bars. Our room was very close to reception on the ground floor and therefore by the main road- I... More
