This is the ugliest place I ever slept. Old and smelly. Bathrooms on PVC, not ceramic. Everything is so old tha it has to be demolished and rebuild.

I liked this hotel. It has a lovely 1930's atmosphere, and has been refurbished with new bedroom furniture and new sanitary ware in the bathrooms. It is a big building so refurbishment is ongoing, I think.
The breakfast cost 12 euro which is expensive but there was a lot of choice and the breakfast room is pleasant.
The staff were...

Located right next to the train station, a 5-10 minute walk from the old town centre, Le Grand Hotel is an old hotel whose glory days have long since passed. The entir ehotel needs an overhaul but that is not to say it is dirty or badly run. It's just old. It'd got a rustic air and certainly its a...

Old hotel across from station. Reception no thrill basic. Carpets are old and worn. Very tiny lift. Rooms big with good bathrooms, no fridge. Walls are thin. Wifi is free but very dodgy.Next to Macdonalds and supermarket. Tourism office is close. Beware when visting chateaus on tours you must also pay an entry fee that can lead to an expensive...

Tours is a really nice city, full of nice surprises here and there.
This hotel was not one of them. Close to the railway station, you could tell from the lobby that the hotel has been long established. The room we stayed in (#128) was freshly decorated, and almost quiet (because the windows were single glazed, you could hear the...

The staff were always willing to give service especially one of the women
Who worked at the front desk during the day.
The best part of our stay was the location of...

Old hotel, renovated so it's not like the old Paris hotels. Clean and comfortable....a bang for the buck.

They gave us a huge room with two beds plus a pull out. By far the largest hotel room we had in France. Big bathroom with deep tub. Our children loved it. Location is close to everything especially the train station. Breakfast buffet was great and the staff very friendly.

The Grand hotel may have seen better days, but it's in a good location, staff are friendly and rooms were clean and a good size. It makes a good base for a short stay in Tours. We booked a quad room for us and the two children via booking.com and they gave us two interconnecting rooms 350 & 334 for...

We traveled to France with family. In the Tours stopped at the Grand Hotel. This is a nice old hotel, just after the renovation. Very convenient location, situated in the center near the railway station. Since we came to visit the chateaux of the Loire, we rented a car. The hotel has kindly provided such a service. The girl at...
