We stayed in Gargamelle's room, at the top of a winding and uneven ancient spiral staircase. It certainly had character and we loved it, but also quite a climb with luggage. The room didn't have much of a view standing up, but laying down in the bed I could see half of the fortress' clocktower. You cannot beat the combination...
