This a modern hotel that is excellently located. It is a short walk to the Cathedral and old central town square. It's also within walking distance of the train station. The rooms appear to be new or recently remodeled with all the modern comforts. If you don't need old world atmosphere, this is an excellent choice when visiting Chartres. More

We stayed in the Mercure in August 2011, and found it quiet, comfortable and perfectly fine for a reasonable price. The hotel is an easy walk to the Cathedrale and other parts of Chartres. The breakfast buffet was not bad at all. This was better than we expected for a Mercure. More
