We stayed one night on the way north-typically! Room 14 was at the front, so some road noise and creaks from the landing.. The room is large, big bathroom, nice fully furnished. Comfortable bed. We were unable to eat there because they were full, but the wonderful Christine recommended a superb restaurant, see separate review ( Le P'tit Bateau).

The hotel is in a small town 30km far from Orleans, strategic location for castle tours. Staff was very friendly and kind. The restaurant is good and food was excellent, healthy as well. We stayed here for one night on our way to the south and it was lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful and made us and our dog feel very welcome! The room was a little tired and in need of refurbishment but dinner and breakfast al fresco were delightful. I would recommend a stay here.

A wonderful hotel providing a very warm welcome. Comfortably far enough from the tourist bustle and overpriced accommodation of Beaugency, this is a classy, peaceful oasis. Worth the price. Highly recommended and a great centre for touring the Loire.
