This is a gorgeous looking hotel, particularly from the outside. The reception area is also lovely and the staircase is beautiful. What a find. It has it all--perfect location in both Amboise and Loire Valley, great service (and helpful in English) wonderful restaurant recommendations and charming breakfast. Standard room on top floor was a bit dark, but had a perfect view of the chateau. Only complaint is the bath tub--no shower. Lobby and library are pefect for relaxation. Two thumbs up!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. They have free parking right out front. Attentive, helpful staff was always around. Beautiful room and the location is great. You can walk to town for dinner and shopping, but also a great base to drive to the various chateaus. A bit pricey but well worth it. Would stay there again!
