We stayed here for 1 night and had a bit of a splurge in the restaurant as we were on a self guided cycling trip and it was our last night before "heading back to base". As this accomodation was included as part of our tour price, I cannot comment on the "value for money" however the room was nice... More

This hotel is in a central location of Les Eyzies and walking distance to the town and museum. The rooms are charming, spacious, nicely furnished and clean. The hotel itself and the location are rather unusual. The restaurant part of the building used to be a water powered mill, with the wheels and water channel still in place. It sits... More

Moulin de la Beune, August, 2011and 2003. I spent about 5 days each time. The hotel remains beautifully kept - lovely furniture, great bedding, and wonderful gardens with running water from an old mill. Fit for a very expensive hotel, but the prices are low: 55e fo a single or you can do half board. The multi-level dinner menu/food is... More

I stayed here with a Chain Gang cycle tour group. What an amazing peaceful and cozy place. Nice garden and little river. Since this place was the first and the last day we stoped, I had 2 different rooms...and very different...in size and confort, mainly the bathrooms. It's a kind of lottery. If I could choose, I would prefer de... More

The hotel is situated some 30 feet below the road, cool, grassy, shaded by mature trees, mill brook gurgling along. It gets hot in this part of France and the cool shady garden is a pleasure. The hotel is what it says on the tin - it is impeccably clean and well run by a very pleasant French woman. Rooms... More

The staff were surly, ignorant and unsmiling on entering into the restaurant, we asked 3 times for a table and were ignored until the owner appeared. The food was only acceptable and nothing special. The menu was intended for you to pay a lot as the choice was either 19 euros or 48 euros, nothing reasonable. we wondered if the... More
