We just returned from 3 night stay. We booked a double room for the 3 nights but when we arrived we were allocated a twin room - room 106. However we did not have any problems with this. The room window was facing a side street so during the night there was always people screaming and shouting which we could... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel enroute by train from Paris to Toulouse and found the rooms although small to be immaculate and well presented and equipped. The only criticism was the tiny shower. Reception was extremely pleasant and helpful and could speak English as we cannot speak French. City centre of Bordeaux is amazing and we either walked... More

I chose this hotel as I flew into Bordeaux in the evening, and had to take the train the next morning. This hotel was right across from the train station and was a good choice. Small , clean and comfortable rooms, free wifi, with friendly and efficient staff. Perfect for an overnight stay. Very easy to walk across the street... More

This hotel is well located near the train station. It's a beautiful, completely restored hotel that is kept immaculately clean. Yes, the rooms are small as many travelers have stated, but we had four pieces of luggage (large -- we were traveling for several weeks through France) plus two laptops and we still fit comfortably. We couldn't close the bathroom... More

We stayed in this hotel on our honeymoon in October 2011. I must admit, the ability to get in on a late train, cross the street to your hotel and collapse in bed wins this hotel points from me. The rooms were quite nice and modern, with comfortable beds. We stayed in a corner room, and though the room was... More

By the train station which is good when you arrive but a bit far from the center by foot (although there is a direct tramway nearby) and not that great a place to hang out or to go to the restaurant. Rooms are a bit small but functional and clean looks pretty new, TV. Free newspapers available. More

Very basic hotel in excellent location, a short distance from the main line to Paris railway station. Reception staff are cheerful and anticipate travelers needs very well. The hotel is really pretty basic, no frills accommodation, apart from the welcomed inclusion of a nice little espresso machine and free WiFi. One annoyance was that we were not allowed to access... .The hotel is located very close to the Gare St-Jean. The service is excellent. The hotel and room are very clean. Good air conditioning. As we were near the station, we heard the sound of trains ... But the window closed, everything was fine. Precautions in the evening if you decide to leave, there are homeless people in the surrounding... More

Like so many when we travel we are apprehensive about the accommodation. There is nothing to worry about with this hotel. We were greeted by an adorable young lady on reception who offered us a city map and travel information. All other staff were equally as helpful throughout our stay. Yes the rooms are very small, but clean and very... More
