Firstly, location, slap bang in the middle of the pedestrianised shopping area - so one happy wife! Lots of bars and restaurants around too. The hotel is more like a small family business than a large chain - with a warm welcome on arrival and everyone so polite and pleasant. Nothing is too much trouble for the guests. The rooms... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Quality Hotel. Everything was excellent- location near the main shopping street, very efficient welcoming staff, exceptional cleanliness and décor. Although the rooms were a little small, they were well appointed with separate WC and bathroom and all the usual amenities. If you are planning a trip to Bordeaux this should... More

We booked a room for 3 and the pull out couch was horrible. We notified the front desk and they responded that no one else had complained. How many complaints do you need? Springs sticking in you the back? Not a good night's sleep. A 12 to 14" square window only one in the room.

We spent 3 nights here last weekend and had a great time. The staff couldn't have been friendlier - always a smile and a bonjour as we we passed the front desk. Also couldn't fault the location - perfect for shopping and also for eating and drinking. So many bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk, for all tastes... More

As others have said, this hotel is located right in the centre of Bordeaux, on the corner of pedestrianised streets. We arrived quite late, so were not able to specify a room at the back for our first night. Instead we had a room at the front which was very noisy with street noise going on past 2am midweek. The... The hotel staff was polite and helpful, and the room was very clean--a little small by American standards, but typical size for Europe. The location of the hotel is excellent for touring the city. One drawback is no parking. There's no free parking anywhere nearby, and pay parking is expensive, so factor that into total cost. Also, breakfast was excellent,... More

The bedroom was a little on the small side, but to be expected in a City. Our view was of a brick wall in 242, but that didn't matter so much... at least it was private! haha The bed was very comfortable. Fairly good selection of TV channels including BBC World. The Nespresso machine was broken in the bedroom unfortunately... More

Staying in the heart of old Bordeaux is not easy: you can't drive right up to your hotel. At the very least, you have to roll your suitcase(s) at least 5 minutes through a maze. But it is worth the trouble just to be centrally located. We picked the Quality because the reviews were good, and it was a perfect... More

While the location is good, the hotel is wanting in several aspects. (It's centrally located, but still somewhat difficult to find.) The heating/air conditioning is controlled by the front desk, it's all-or-nothing, and the room can be quite stuffy. In our three nights, each day brought some issues with subpar servicing (cleaning) of the room (including dirty towels folded at... More

Arrived midweek for a one night stay at Bordeaux. The location is fantastic for exploring the city on foot with plenty of sightseeing, shopping, and dinning option near by. Service was polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, had the added benefit of a Nespresso machine in the room as well. The breakfast was nice with a decent... More
