Heart of the city location means it's great for sight-seeing but, naturally, can be noisy some nights...so rooms would benefit from double-glazing. Quality Hotel St Catherine is 150 metres/yards in from the edge of the pedestrianised area so even with 2 weeks of luggage and fishing rod cases and tackle bag it was very easy for 2 50/60 yrs olds to get to from our drop off point. Great location for a city break. Not ideal if travelling by car as public car park is pricey and a bit of a walk with luggage. Very attractive from outside and very centrally located. Our room was on the third floor and was very dated and tired although clean with all facilities that we needed. more
