Welcome to the home of MadameDulong. This estate has been in her family for 3 generations. Its very informal, amazing rooms, and you are made to feel very welcome. Its a short drive into bordeaux and there are some amazing resturants near by. I can also highly recommend the wine they make its organic, and very tasty! I have stayed... More

Spent two nights at this elegant chateau. Proprietor Sylvie Dulong walked us through the grounds explaining the story of the wine producer. She is the third generation of her family as vintner. Sylvie provided a tasting that convinced us to buy several bottles of reserve from 2008 and 2009 as well as two bottles of the rose. Highly recommended. More

We recently had two nights here with my sister and brother in law. The Chateau is beautiful. The experience was sureal and we felt like royalty. We had the Madeleine suite. They had the Clothilde Suite. Such a lovely environment to have a quality time together with special people in our lives. Close enough to St Emilion for a day... More

We stayed here for four nights, two of which we met up with my brother and sister in law. We had the Clothilde Suite they had Madeleine. Madame Dulong was welcoming and accommodating from the first email and throughout our stay. The rooms are renovated to a charming standard without losing the era of the Chateau. The dining room at... The owner madame Sylvie is extremely gentle and nice. We wanted to experience a night in a real chateau but didn't want go too far from the city. I choose the room on their website and i in fact got it as requested. The chateau is in the middle of a vineyard. We discovered later that the chateau produces its... More

This chateau is right between Bordeaux and the charming village of St. Emilion. It is a small chateau, which the delightful owner, Silvie Dulong, is glad to show you, and she has turned her family home, which has housed 3 generations, into a charming bed and breakfast with 4 gorgeous guest rooms. There is a pool for relaxing. It's a... More

My husband and I had an absolutely delightful two night stay at Chateau Lavergne-Dulong. The chateau is beautiful and the bedrooms have recently been renovated to a high standard. We stayed in the Clothilde suite. The two room suite is nicely decorated, the bed comfortable and the bathroom is as nicely done as any luxury property in which we have... More

We only stayed for one night and i wish we could have stayed for longer! The Chateau is beautiful and has been redecorated in a beautiful style with everything very well thought through. Dinner in was delicious but did put our french to the test slightly eating with the hostess and another couple (Belgian). While there we enjoyed a relaxing... More

Chateau Lavergne-Dulong is a true gem. I am conflicted in writing this review. I would love to keep Chateau Lavergne-Dulong as our little "secret", that special place that only a few people have experienced. That is not reality. When we booked our stay we had read only a handful of reviews and we were hopeful that everything was as it... More

This charming B&B is an ideal place to stay if you are exploring the wine regions of Bordeaux. The rooms are charming and stylish and Sylvie is a perfect host. In addition to the B&B side of things Sylvie also offers dinners which we took up and was very much worth it. Her classic French home cookery style is simply... More
