Hotel Pax is a nice little hotel in Strasbourg. It is located very close to the city centre, right next to the tram station "rue faubourg national", not far away from the train station and a lot of parking facilities.

Spacious rooms, clean and comfy. No drinking facilities in room if you're on the street side the trams are very noisy in the night and morning.

Two months before our trip to Strasbourg in December 2009, we found it difficult to find a budget room. Apparently rooms fill up quickly during the Christmas season. At 84 euros a night for a double, plus an additional 8 euros each for breakfast, this place was a bit too pricey for our taste.

The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful and the place is conveniently located near the historic district. It's clean and there's an excellent breakfast buffet offered every morning. It's almost worth staying here just for the breakfast buffet!
