A one-night stay for a night out in Manchester. We found the Novotel to be what we would always expect from this chain. Check-in was efficient, friendly & polite. Upgrade options were offered to us although on this occasion we declined. Our room was clean and just as expected, although the bed felt & sounded like a put-you-up bed but...

We've stayed before and, following recent visit to see relations, this Novotel is very well run No complaints with check in and general service and the location is ideal for China Town etc with adjacent car parking. Will stay again

Have now stayed in this hotel three or four times, on business each time. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. I like the fact that there's a room safe. I arrived late in the evening this time, but room service was no problem. Breakfast is always good, as I love the selection, especially of fruit. Bit disappointed this...

I stayed here Friday 20th January 2012. The reception has been recently renovated so is very sleek though I fear the style will date quickly.
The staff were superb, as always, the food was very good especially the lunch menu which is wonderful value for money and the quality of the food is also very good.
The rooms are spacious...

Stayed for one Saturday night, with buisness colleagues and wives for a night out in Manchester. Arrived approx 1pm. Room not ready, and was offered another which had been refurbished and was available immediately at an additional cost of £5, which we agreed to as we wanted to leave luggage and go for lunch. The room on the 3rd floor...

Was working for four days - great location, room fine, got a great rate on Novotel website. Breakast too expensive - went out to local coffee shop for a croissant and a cup of coffee - much cheaper! Had one meal in hotel which was nice but too much - maybe not a complaint for some people.

Booked into this hotel new years eve, because it was the cheapest one i found to be honest that looked decent, and to be honest i was really pleasantly surprised when we arrived, everything was so easy. Directed to car park, which is under hotel, you have to pay for that but you get a discount if staying with them....

Entrance gives you the impression you are in a 5 star, while the rooms are of a 3 (pleasant but simple). Only complaint, whilst understandably, 'gym' key separate and no free internet in rooms. Breakfast simple but extreme value for money. Appreciate smoke free hotel in the heart of Manchester, if only the winter specials was the standard price!
