I just came back from a weekend away with my girlfriend. I loved (nearly) everything about the hotel. The staff were excellent. The bar was brilliant. The room was fantastic. The bed was great. My only quibble is that not providing free WIFI in 2012 is pretty stingy, especially for the price... More

Despite not being able to arrange an early check in as requested, the staff soon redeemed themselves and over the 2 days that we stayed at the hotel, me and sons were subjected to fantastic and courteous service. The reason for a quick visit to Manchester was to see a Manchester United soccer match. Although the Lowry is not near... More

I didn't stay there, but went for a massage. Worst spa attached to a fancy hotel I've ever been to. It's lit as brightly as an Ikea. Relaxation room literally has bean-bag chairs. Serenity is not included. Women at desk seemed harried. After having a mediocre massage I went to the bar to have some food and check my email.... More

The Lowry is just a very well run hotel, where nothing is too much trouble, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the place is seamless! When you arrive the bags are whisked from the car and are delivered to your room before you get there. Not many hotels achieve this.I was checked in by the happy, but highly organised Matilda,who... Called for lunch last Friday, weather was lovely so it was a very pleasant view from the bar and restaurant, staff friendly and helpful but the lunch was very ordinary. More

I'd been to the Lowry Hotel for business meetings/seminars in the last few years but never stayed there as its still only a 45 min drive from home. It had always impressed me so when an evening out in Manchester with friends came up we decided to stay, and since our room only cost £127 in advance it was also... More

We stayed for one night to celebrate Richard's birthday, we were allowed to check in early as our room was available and we were shown to our room by Rachel the receptionist who was very kind, peasant and informative. The room was spacious (531) with a massive bed and walk in wardrobe, that Lisa enjoyed very much. We used the... More

Dear Guest, I am very pleased that you enjoyed your birthday celebrations with us recently. We do benefit from having the largest bedrooms in the city which make room for our large beds and very spacious walk in wardrobes. I am glad that you had time to experience different parts of the hotel, maybe next time you will try The... More

Have stayed here quite a few times on business and everytime it does exactly what it says on the tin. High quality facilities, excellent staff and good service. Even the hotel restaurant is good, if not outstanding. The only downside is parking. When there's a conference - quite often - there just isn't enough space and you have to park... More

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in January. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, layout and so on. Room could do with some more plug sockets for laptop/ phone charger etc. Tried in room dining and could not fault it. Corridors/ carpets could do with a face lift, overall would give hotel my blessings especially... More

Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. We are in the process of updating all the areas you have mentioned; we do of course suffer a little wear and tear from time to time. We have new plug socket plates being produced as we speak and schedule to replace the corridor carpets... More
