Stayed at this hotel for 1 night, as we went tto a show at the M.E.N. arena.(see review for my review of that!!) Quite easily found the hotel, and parked in the car park at the rear of the hotel, which is only accessible via your car park ticket, which is an excellent idea. The lady at reception was A1,... jph, many thanks for your comprehensive comments.Glad you liked the new car park arrangements -ticket controlled for all access. Apologies about the coffee- you should have been told and the supplier should have responded more speedily to our maintenance call out ( discussions are taking place!). We are re-painting all rooms and 311 will be done shortly. Handles on door have... More

We stayed here from Friday until Monday, i would recommend it. We were a couple travelling but it would cater for families also. It was within walking distance to the center. We got the train from the airport and it was 5 minute walk. The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely. Breakfast was the only meal we had at... More

Dean, Delighted you and your friends enjoyed your stay- the location- just 400 metres from Deansagte- the leisure club and the team's approach & attitude. We may not have every facility but if you want a clean room, good welcome and great location with excellent leisure facilities then, hopefully, we at least match the competition with value for money rates,... I travel to Manchester for work quite often and struggle to find a hotel with a swimming pool that's affordable on the budget I have. I wish I'd found this place sooner. The area is great -from Piccadilly train station it's a tram ride and then a short (5 minutes) walk from the tram stop, and there are lots of... More

Queen of cakes- we look forward to welcoming you back- as you say the pool is great along with the rest of the Y club. You must have had a heavy bag- or walked slowly- to take 40 mins to Piccadilly! but you will have seen a great deal of the city which is on our doorstep More

Staff are super friendly, rooms are a little tired, but with only a 2 stop tram ride into the City Centre, makes it a perfect location. There are restaurants close by (Sushi and Indian). Oh and not to forget the Hotel food is also good. More

Glad you enjoyed your food and the location. It's just 400 metres to Deansgate and that's where the shopping starts! If you don't feel like walking then the free shuttle bus to all parts goes from outside the Musuem of Science & Industry- just 200 metres walk away More

Thanks for commenting. The nearest train/Metro station is Deansgate/Castlefield which is a maximum of 10 minutes wqalk - just cross Deansgate onto Liverpool Road and the Castlefield is 400 metres from the junction on the left hand side of the road opposite the Museum Of Science & Industry and overlooking Castlefield Arena and canal basin. Thanks for your comments. Glad you found the hotel easy to get to, particularly with the advantage of an on site city centre car park.
