Stayed two nights - very nice - recommend the Indian restaurant (had something from there both nights!!) - full english breakfast kept us going all day too!! Booked a single room with Booking.com and got a bargain. In fact I was given a double room. Lovely room with spacious shower and toilet. Indian restaurant located in back room of pub does excellent meals. Also the breakfast served there in the mornings is more than adequate with everything cooked and delivered fresh. We stayed at the Inn for two nights in October. We were welcomed in a warm and friendly way and the excellent level of service continued throughout our stay. Had a great stay at the Inn,we stayed 2 nights and would highly recommend The Volunteer Inn to anyone. We stayed in the room above the bar, which was quite noisy, but didn't bother us. The room was basic and very clean. All the staff are very friendly and the food is great. We will be back! more
