We had an extremely pleasant stay here, the homely feel and personal service was very welcoming. I am sure we will visit again perhaps in the summer to explore more of the area for which this hotel is well positioned.

The Malt House is a superb boutique hotel in, for our money, the prettiest village in the Cotswolds. We took advantage of a midwinter 3-nights-for-the-price-of-2 package and booked a garden suite. Judith, the very pleasant owner, and her partner, David, even lay on a friendly cat, Dizzy, to entertain guests. Oh, there are also pheasants to be seen scooting around...

The Malt House, along with Judi the innkeeper, were the BEST. Yes, a trifle on the expensive side, but not when you consider the quality of all the furnishings as well as the quality of the breakfast -- all local/homemade.
Book a bike (or even some horseback riding) and stay for longer than we did. If we had known beforehand,...

Just a quick review to say that The Malt House is a really gorgeous place with the most amazing gardens. Everything is done to a much higher standard than usual in B&Bs (check the designer cutlery and quality cleaning), except for the distinctly average breakfasts. Do not stay without a hire car/bike as nothing is in walking distance, but well...

Absolutely beautiful grounds and house. The rooms and bathrooms are top notch and in a beautiful area. Judi the owner and innkeeper, along with her staff, are pleasant and eager to help make you comfortable. And Judi is great at making suggestions for a trip around the Cotswolds. Will definately recommend to my clients and friends and I can'tt wait...

I spent two nights here with my elderly mother; we had rooms in the main house on the first floor. The house and bedrooms have enormous charm. The room sizes, decorations, bed linen, furnishings and bathrooms rivalled any expensive hotel room I have experienced, with the addition of a selection of interesting books and magazines, a posy of fresh flowers...

My husband and nearly 3-year old daughter just returned from 3 nights at The Malt House. It's a gorgeous old house with beautiful gardens, croquet lawn and orchard, great for relaxing after a day touring the many quaint Cotswold villages. We stayed in room 7, which had private access from the garden. When we arrived our room was outfitted for...

We stayed here just one night on a quick trip through the area with a relative, but wish we could have stayed longer. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms and lounge areas are very elegant and comfortable. The full English breakfast was very good and there were plenty of healthier options as well. Yes, maybe Judi is a bit...

Lovely old house and garden; Judi is a friendly welcoming host, full of knowledge of places to visit. We come each Spring for the fellas to play some of the many golf courses in the locality, and for the ladies to visit the lovely villages, galleries, and shops in this part of the Cotswolds. We would recommend The Malt House,...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Malt House. It is a lovely B&B with gorgoeus gardens and charming rooms. The owner, Judi, is a bit reserved but was very hospitable and made us feel welcome. The location is fabulous--very near Chipping Campden and there are several gastropubs nearby. We can't wait to return!
