Four of us stayed at the York House last weekend, and it was as lovely as I had been told. The room on the top floor was very spacious, with everything we needed and the breakfast was a delight. The whole building is wonderful, with so many original features which add to the character of the place.

This was great! My room was bright, quiet, spatious, very clean, the bed was spectacularly comfortable, even the towels were amazingly fluffy. I was much impressed and would come back any time. Definitely deserving of its excellent ratings!

Before booking my flight from Frankfurt I checked with Sue when she would have a room for me as I sometimes there has been nothing available when I have wished to stay at York House. Room was of good standard, but no biscuits available. Breakfast had fresh fruit salad and a wide variety of cereals, plus usual range of cooked choices.
