I would have to agree with the previous review this hotel has potential but is seriously flawed in so many ways! Firstly this hotel is just rebranding to Park Inn Birmingham Walsall so some signs are for Ramada Encore and some are Park Inn. Rooms are okay and good value if you get a good deal - we stayed on... We booked this hotel as it was simply the cheapest in the area at the time - 2 months before we stayed. (cost was only £34 per night though would have shot up to around £129 if booked nearer the time - way overpriced). The room was of an excellent standard with very modern/stylish fittings. We were missing the cot... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night in december and was very impressed by the level of cleanliness. Super sparkly clean shower and crisp white sheets on the bed. Very pleased with price and breakfast was fine. continental with a bit of scrambled egg thrown in. We had a double room and cost was under 50 pounds. We also heard... More

Stayed for one night. Online booking website states asy access to NEC....hahah. Took 2 trains to NEC and airport, not a straightforward change of train...... got lost. Not the safest way to travel in Brum. Breakfast was awful, luke warm, poor quailty bacon and sausages and not enough for everyone. Waiter took ages to refill hot trays. Only put out... More

I think this hotel has been unfairly judeged in the past. Here is what I think: Rooms - I stayed in a family room which had a double bed, sofa, LCD TV, writing desk, beautiful lamps, walk in beautiful modern shower. Room very clean very modern very snazzy. Laminate flooring adds to cleanliness feel. Airconditioning - available in all rooms.... More

I stayed in this hotel on a business trip. The hotel itself is fairly pleasant although it is located next to Walsall football club. The rooms are clean and modern but are definitely more appropriate for a 1 night business stay rather than a weekend break hotel. The service in the restaurant however was terrible. We had to wait 15... More

A new hotel with an impressive website but it was very disappointing. It is on a building site right next (but not easy to find) from the motorway and was very noisy. No one told us about the Sunday morning market which was being set up from 0400. The food service is basic and of poor quality. The tv is... More

A lovely hotel with excellent, friendly, efficiant staff that bent over backwards to please. Far from a B&B ! Good location. I cannot fault this hotel, obviously it is new & the staff are still being trained, but they are doing a wonderfull job. I like the telephone call after arrival to ask if everything is ok. I will definatly... More

Business trip and unfortunately (truly) had to stay twice. Its really just a travel lodge that costs more and pretends to be a hotel. Give up and just offer beds. Some of the staff appear to be completely untrained - particularly the waitress. It took 10 minutes to get a bottle of wine and some glasses - we asked for... More

Stayed over one night here atfer a function at the neighbouring Bescot Stadium! Hotel had only been open two weeks when we stayed here! As you would expect for a new hotel everything was in tip top condition. No bath in the room - only a shower - so if you are after a long soak you won't get one... More
