I only arrived late at the hotel and left early. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and very clean. I particularly liked the wet-room style en-suite. It was a very easy Hotel to find, a few minutes off the motorway, with ample parking. The morning buffet style breakfast was again very plentiful with... More

stayed here for one night , staff very pleasant, speedy check -in , rooms spotlessly clean and a good size. I found it surprisingly quiet in view of it's proximity to the M6 so very pleased indeed , location is great, easy to get back on the motorway system. Breakfast buffet was good, well replenished , hot, with a good... More

Stayed here for one night and wouldn't say it was bad, but the dining staff need training. The rooms are very basic but the shower was great and the bed was ok. It was noisy in my room, some sort of pump above the ceiling tiles outside in the corridor that banged away all night and traffic noise early morning.... More

Stayed here just for 1 night back in January. The hotel staff were friendly, let me leave by suitcase there for the day whilst I went to a clients site even though I had not yet checked in. The room itself was ok for the money paid, however it was incredibly noisy. I was above the kitchrens and therefore had... More

We stayed here by way of a coach trip organised by a local tour company. I never take much notice of outside appearances (unless it's a total wreck), and this one looked fine. The football ground looked a bit close but that didn't worry us, we had no car in the car park anyway, nor did the proximity of the... More

I liked this hotel - it provided everything I'd want, plus a little more. I normally tend to eat out but here I was tempted to eat in & enjoy a few beers. I didn't regret it. Nice easy atmosphere in the large bar & common room. I was touched by the apple that was left for me. Nice thought... More

Stayed Saturday evening for a function and completely satisfied with our stay. Room was spotless, bathroom excellent and a great English breakfast. Staff efficient and hotel was great value. Even though we had a room opposite the lift and next to stairwell, virtually no disturbances. Will definitely be returning.

So, you have a choice of view from your bedroom - if it is an odd numberered room then you will have a lovely view of the M6 which is no more than 50 yards away. On the other hand, you may prefer a view of the football ground turnstiles from about 40 yards away which you can select by... More
