Stopped over on way home from a Eurostar break, in order to be close to bluewater for shopping the next day. We were sorely tempted to drive straight home (another 3.5 hours) rather than stay at this hotel. It was really grubby, it felt there was no point in showering as you'd need another one the moment you left! We... more

I sytayed at this Travelodge because it is close to Bluewater, where I was working (around a 10 minute drive away). The hotel is a little tricky to find (because of the ring road), but my Sat Nav, did me proud. I was at the end of the first floor corridor, which is quite a peaceful location, but it is... more

Although this hotel is one of the better ones in the Travelodge chain, it suffers from charging higher prices than comparable hotels in the area, and then lumps all the Travelodge additional / hidden charges on top. If you arrive 40 minutes before the nominated check-in time, as I did, you will be invited to pay an early check-in charge,... more

Oh my god, what a dive!!! do not stay here, its absolutely disgusting, depressing, dull. There were marks all over the wall, mould in the bathroom and dust in all corners of the room. Not only was the room and hotel rubbish but the lady behind the counter who i am sure was doing a 15hr shift couldnt be bothered!!!... more

This is without doubt the worst room I have ever stayed in. The bed was clean and comfy and that is the only positive things I can say. The cobwebs in the corner of the room must have been 12 inches across (room 122) and my friend who was in the room opposite had a hole in the wall where... more

We ( a 3 year old & 13 year old boys plus two adults) stayed in May 2009 in a family room. The room was clean and tidy and quiet (in spite of trains and set back from the road so traffic noise wasn't a problem). The staff were very helpful and when I phoned an hour before arrival to... more

Very quick and efficient check in with the option of breakfast given, we were given a room at the end of a long corridor on the first floor which was spotlessly clean at all times. Our room was more than adequate, the room was very clean apart from under the bed but you don`t sleep under the bed do you,... more

This is possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Despite paying only £19 for the room, it was barely worth that. When we turned up at 2.15pm, we were told quite bluntly that we couldn't check in until 3pm. Which is fair enough, but when we asked if we could check in and leave our bags, but not have... more

We stayed for a one-night stopover so that we'd be local for a shopping day at Bluewater the next morning. We paid £29 off the Travelodge website and this was about what it was worth for a bog-standard Travelodge room. Nothing wrong with it as it was clean & tidy but one night would be enough, especially as it is... more

I suppose the noise is the first thing to mention. It is very noisy here, with a main road to one side and a railway line to the other. It's also very warm in the rooms in the summer months, which is made worse by having to keep the windows closed at night to cut the noise down a bit.... more
