We arrived very late on the first night, it was great to arrive and have a good nights sleep. Unfortunately the next morning we got up to have our showers but the extractor fan system started filling our room with smoke, so obviously people were smoking in a room beside us, therefore we complained on our way out for breakfast... more

Premier Inn's claim to give a good nights sleep at a reasonable cost and this particular one certainly does. I have stayed in many premier inn but the location here is beautiful it is right by the river. We had beautiful weather so we sat and watched the water birds and boats. Lovely walk along the tow path to Maidstone.... more

Having stayed at many Hotels around the Maidstone this hotel is pretty much average. The rooms are clean and tidy although looks outdated. The bathroom could do with a refit and deep clean however being that the whole hotel has not been renovated to the new Premier Inn standard it’s a clean bed for the night. The restaurant next door... more

Convenient location - 3 minutes from the M20. About 6-7 miles from Leeds Castle. Basic but comfortable room - spacious for its price and very quiet. more

What a great place to stay! Next to a stunning river and a lovely pub! The pub serves excellent food with superb service! Staff in both the premier inn and pub are more than hapy to help and always smiling! The room woz well presented with a large room and shower/bath. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. I couldnt have asked for... more

A Premier Inn with a lovely, quiet location. Only a few hundred yards from J6 of the M20, this Premier Inn is located adjacent to the local museum of country life and directly next to the river Medway. The Malta Inn (Beefeater) is next door and is an old fashioned, quirky building despite being a chain restaurant. Breakfasts exceptional value... more

we stayed here for one night. the web showed it was fully booked, so I phoned up and checked availability and a helpful lady booked a room for me. I was asked if I wanted to book breakfast and also reserve a table for dinner in the beefeater pub next door. Recommended as they get very busy at weekends especially... more

The room was spacious, and furnished to a pretty high standard, given that it is a semi-budget chain. Reception staff were curteous and efficient. Everywhere clean. Location is great - right by the river, and next to a great pub / restaurant. Also ideal for The Village hotel, if you want a cheaper alternative after a meal / event there. more

Just like every other Travel Inn in the country I suppose, but I particularly liked the fact that the bedroom window could be opened; that the toiletries in the bathroom were in large refillable containers rather than tiny (un-environmentally sound) bottles; and breakfast was cooked to order. Nice spot by the river, and friendly receptionist and breakfast waitress. more

Great little find after a long week's diet of noisy and worn out roadside motels. Although just off the motorway exit, you could be in the middle of the countryside as this motel occupies a prime site on the river bank. The rooms are functional yet well-equipped, in good condition and clean. There can be some noise from the pub... more
