Just held a wedding celebration here. We provided a band, caterers & wine. All it had to provide was a bar & the room. When the band & caterers arrived at approx 6pm there were no staff to be found. No staff appeared until after 7pm when they started to stock the bar for a 7.30pm start. There were no... More

Stayed there for a mates 30th birthday party, ideal place with plenty of parking friendly staff, nice oldy characteristic building party till the early hours, very relaxed atmosphere, rooms had everything you needed apart from shower door and a couple of missing light bulbs, we paid 50 pounds for a double room which I think was about fair, if you... Police investigation is currently underway to ascertain why belongings were stolen from our locked room. Manager very very unhelpful. Dreadful experience. :( More

I've just spent 3 days at this hotel for a First Aid course, never again do I hope to return!! First of all, there only seem to be two staff, both miserable and scruffy, never anyone on Reception. The staff seem to smoke freely in the building which I thought was illegal?? It smells so badly of smoke that it... More

After booking by email and having confirmation, when we arrived after a lovely cruise on the Medway the waiting staff said that they didnt know we were coming. Eventually after a long wait, 2 scones arrived per person on a plate. We then had to ask for some jam, and then for some knives. The tea eventually arrived, but we had to... More

Stayed overnight at the hotel for a friend's 21st birthday party and after checking in at reception and being given our twin room, it appeared to be on the top floor at the end of a dingy corridor... Once inside the room things just got progressively worse, first of all the room and the bathroom were like a sauna, the... More

At first I thought I was in for a nice stay, because the building is so grand. However the whole place seemed deserted and when we were finally seen to check in took ages, because the receptionist didn't know how to use the computer system! The room had potential, but had not been looked after - quite dirty. At breakfast... More

The hotel room was filthy, there was dust all over the units, the bedsheets had stains all over them. I was also disgusted at the fact that the room next to us seemed to have been entertained by a "woman of free virtue", who we bumped into upstairs. The night porter barely spoke English and so our check in took... More

Stay In Kent very often and this is easily the worst hotel I've stayed in in Kent, infact just the worst ever. Not only was the room untidy and bed sheets unclean but the Walls were even filthy. The food was poor too, was practically stone cold and again the cutlery was dirty. Very noisy as well. Almost every negative... More
