We had our wedding at the Harrow in December 2011 and I cannout say enough about Tony, Colin and Kate. They were made the whole experience so personal and were so conciencious fitting everything around our choices and budget. Tony was on hand the whole time to discuss ideas and organise everything and even helped setting everything up and taking... More

Stayed here with friends and had a really nice stay until the last evening ! food was good and service was good and hotel overall was very clean! However on the last evening the manager of the Hotel was chatting to me and friends and made some very derogatory comments about gay people and that he does not like them... More

As the owner I must apologise and wish to apologise unreservedly for the totally unacceptable remarks you referred to and which inevitably detracted from your otherwise pleasant stay at the Harrow. For the sake of clarity the individual responsible was neither the owner nor the manager but in no circumstances should any member of our staff conduct themselves as you... More

We stayed at the Harrow Inn last weekend and were very disappointed in our room (No 3). As we walked into the room there was an awful smell (which possibly came from the drains), and the whole room was in dire need of a good clean. There was a cobweb hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom, the drawers were... More

Very helpful and pleasant staff. Choice of restaurant or bar meals (latter very decent quality- not just the typical bar menu - had lamb and veg). Quiet location. Nice atmosphere. Breakfast was £6 ph - nice but as I am milk intolerant fresh fruit as a starter option to cereal would have been nice, as would the offer of extra... More

We stayed at Harrow Hill in 2009 and went back two weeks ago, trip down memory lanewise. We weren't too enthusiastic before (old stuffy and worn down room) but went back for sentimental reasons and hoping it had improved. The location is quite nice (rural) and as the sun was shining we entered the bar. There were new people running... More

Wonderful location close to all places we wanted to visit. Full of character and an ideal base for the spectacular old town of Lenham, the Pilgrims Way and Leeds Castle. We were particularly impressed with the speed of the free WiFi internet connection which was so much better than at home, so also pleased we brought the laptop. The staff... More

We stopped at the Harrow for a couple of nights on our return to France. Lots of typical English character in the building and the bar. Outside is beautiful countryside and the staff were very friendly. The room was big and the free internet worked well in our room and in the bars. Parking was very easy. We liked this... More

We held our parents golden wedding anniversary celebrations at the Harrow Hill hotel. There were about 30 people to dine and we had the dining room closed off for our function. We used the bar and all of the rooms. We had wonderful service, a generous discount and brilliant time had by all. Rooms comfortable, food delicious and well served,... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. The location of this hotel is rural (about 2 miles of the main road) and very quiet. There is ample parking. We loved driving along the narrow English country lanes. The hotel staff were excellent. Service was really good and nothing too much trouble. The first night we had a room on the ground... More

Hotel was pretty expensive but looked OK, we where booking late so we went for this place. Seemed OK on first arrival, the place was deserted but the chap on reception seemed friendly enough but just couldnt speak a lot of English. We had a drink in the deserted bar and just got stared at by the foreign chaps daughter... More

We are inevitably disappointed on the very rare occasions that any guest expresses dissatisfaction regarding their stay at the Harrow whatever the rationale. With regard to the problem with the WiFi we are sorry that a technical problem affected the service in one area of the building. We appreciate how important a good quality Internet connection is to many of... More
