An unbeatable experience at Wynnstay House Hotel. The owners are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable, a generous hospitality tray is a lovely touch. Breakfast is delicious with locally sourced products and homemade bread and preserves. I've stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. I can highly recommend this... More

I stayed here for two night with a friend last week and found it to be a lovely B&B. The service was exemplary and couldn't be faulted. We stayed in the twin room at the front of the house and would advise drawing the curtains in hot weather to keep the room cool. The beds were very comfortable, albeit very... More

Stayed for one night whilst travelling from Scotland. Our rooms were large and well appointed with high quality furnishings and bedding, sofa and soft chair, tv and tea & coffee etc. The property is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It enjoys an excellent location, a leafy suburb a short walk from the town centre, and the lack of Victorian foresight... More

We had a lovely two night stay at Wynnstay House last weekend. The house is beautiful and on a peaceful tree-lined street only 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. The owners, Andy and Tracey, are very friendly and professional and showed great attention to detail - they remembered at breakfast on the second day that we'd preferred the... More

Thank you for taking the time to write such a kind review - it was lovely to meet you both - we are glad you enjoyed breakfast, we do, as you say, try to source everything locally or ensure it is homemade (like the wholemeal bread!) and yes, the duck egg omelette is a popular one! We hope very much... More

I have stayed here several times over the past 10 years for conferences at the Harrogate International Centre, which is a convenient ~5 minute walk away. The owners, Andy and Tracey, are lovely people, extremely welcoming and flexible if things don't work out quite as planned (one year I had to leave early and they resold my room; another time... We had the pleasure of staying here for a one night stop. Location is great for a mooch round Harrogate and they gave us a resident's parking permit for the road. Very friendly welcome from Andy and Tracey, maps and directions instantly available. Nice room on first floor well fitted out . En-suite small but fine for our purposes (electric... More

Thank you for your kind comments and entertaining review! It was nice to meet you both recently and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. I see the "style of room debate" continues! We understand that the bedside shelves used to sympathise with the Victorian architecture were not your preference so do remind us if you are returning to stay,... More

Just back from great weekend in Harrogate. Second time at Wynnstay (would have been more only can't always get in!). Don't know how they do it, but it always seems freshly painted. Nice bnb with lovely hosts Andy and Tracey. Close to the town centre and to the convention centre, Wynnstay is a big Victorian house which is nicely furnished with antiques but not in a stuffy way. Everything spotlessly clean. We had a double room on the top floor. Nicely furnished, with a few individual touches. Ensuite shower. Only downside was... More
