Immaculate room, very comfortable room, clean and beautiful shower, wonderful, helpful staff. The garden is very pretty. Great steak dinner at cozy restaurant overlooking the garden. Very nice proximity to the cbd. The only negative was breakfast which I thought was average to slightly below average.

We wanted somewhere away from the city of Christchurch and Huntley Lodge was the best choice - the grounds are really lovely, treelined section, swimming pool and completely relaxing. The only issue is distance to attractions but that came with the choice of location and my wife loved the bathroom products - I believe the word was heavenly!

We wanted to stay somewhere special on our last night in New Zealand and Huntley Lodge was exactly that! We arrived and were welcomed with big smiles & given a tour of the historic building. We were then shown to our suite and it was lovely! Perfect way to end our honeymoon :)
